 Spacer FIX&FLEX® is deployed on a multi-machine topography with the web server, application server and database server residing on physically separate machines.

The HTTP Server resides inside a DMZ (De-militarised Zone) and is protected by an outer and an inner firewall. The Application Server and Database Server sit behind the DMZ and are protected by an inner firewall. The HTTP Server serves the static content and forwards requests for dynamic content to the Application Server.

The Application Server runs a single instance of FIX&FLEX® and uses a JDBC Type-4 driver to connect to the Database Server. The Database Server runs multiple databases, one for each company. 		Spacer
