FIX&FLEX® is typically hosted using an ASP (Application Service Provider) model, which provides a shared environment i.e. multiple companies use the same hardware, software and application instance – the only exception is the database, where each company has their own database. Optionally, a client can choose to pay for their own dedicated environment – this can be extended to include dedicated Firewalls and network connections.
Clients can also choose to host FIX&FLEX® themselves, in which case Vebnet can provide bespoke support and consultancy services to the client.
Vebnet’s hardware is located in two data centres, one in Edinburgh and one in London, which enable us to provide disaster recovery services. |
