Integration		 Spacer FIX&FLEX® integrates with an Employer’s systems using flat-files. The format of the flat-file is agreed between Vebnet and the Employer during implementation. The reporting engine allows administrator to produce data exports to their local machines for import into payroll and provider back-office systems.

Vebnet support a number of forms of encryption for transmission of these CSV files:

1) Flat files can be encrypted and then transferred using standard ftp. We support GnuPG for encryption/decryption. Full information on GnuPG can be obtained from www.gnupg.org. This involves the use of a shared key. Files are encrypted by the employer and sent by ftp. The file is then decrypted and left in the FTP folder before being transferred to the hosted infrastructure.

2) Employers can send flat-files to Vebnet over FTPS. Alternatively Vebnet can pull the file from a customer’s server using FTPS (FTP over SSL) using Serv-U from Rhinosoft www.rhinosoft.com When using SSL, we recommend using FTP Voyager to connect to Serv-U.

3) VPN, either dedicated to a single client or over the Internet. 		Spacer
