Dr SANDY NAIRN
Dr Sandy Nairn is a founding member and Deputy Chairman of Vebnet. In addition to his position at Vebnet, Sandy is a founding partner of Edinburgh Partners, an Investment Management company established in 2003. He was previously Chief Investment Officer at Scottish Widows, where he was responsible for assets in excess of £80bn.
Prior to that, Sandy was Director of Global Equity Research at Franklin Templeton Investments Limited, where he helped build and manage one of the world's top investment management teams, and helped assets grow from $15bn to over $100bn. Prior to this, Sandy was part of the investment management team at Murray Johnstone.
He is also the author of 'Engines that Move Markets: Technology Investing from Railroads to the Internet and Beyond' published by John Wiley. |
